Princess is out of it then cos they don't do them under 10 days in length.

The only real homeporter ships in LA/SD are HAL & Carnival ships, others visit as part of their individual seasons but only HAL and Carnival Spirit 8 day trips operate almost full time from those ports.

I checked vacationstogo.com and they show an 8 day cruise on Carnival Spirit. out of San Diego. It an itinerary I could talk my husband into - Lots of Days at sea! (The only other option that came up was on NCL. That doesn't mean no other ships go there, but it's a decent indicator of what TA's are able to sell right now.)
You are in Acapulco from 1 pm until 2 am.

I use their website, because in their custom search utility, you can say "I want a 5-9 day cruise that leaves out of Tampa and goes to Cayman" or in your case, leaving from SD or LA, max 9 days, visiting Acapulco.

Here's the deal. My parents were booked on NCL Star out of LA 8 night to Acapulco before the whole revision of their itinerary due to azipod propulsion problems. Long story short, my parents were able to cancel their cruise and because of the problems we had will never use NCL again.

I'm trying to find them a new cruise since they want to see Acapulco, but my choices seem to be limited. I saw Celebrity Mercury 10 night out of SD on Jan 13. I'll look into that.

Alisa, is Carnival out of the question? I think Chudley took a cruise on the itinerary I posted above, so you can ask her about the ship, etc.
