Jim, I've been there three or four times, what do you want to know? GOOD place to shop, good beaches.........we also always eat at the Shrimp Factory when we're there. They sell shrimp by the kilo. There's also an island (I can't think of the name, it'll be on the excursion list) that they take boats of people to, nice beaches, banana boat rides, and alot of drinks. Randi's Happy Horses is also there, if you like horseback riding. We've not done that.

Jim, we've been to the Mexican Riviera alot as it's easy for us to get to. What to do in the ports has more to do with your preferences. There is alot to do. Mazatlan is the best place to shop, more so than any of the other ports. The shopping is in two areas, one in the Golden zone (beach and hotel area) and one area is in town. I recommend the Golden Zone. The last time we were there, we just did the ship's excursion ($35pp) for lunch, shopping and the beach. It was just easy for us. You could get a taxi cheaper tho to take you there, it's not far. The Paradise beach was in Puerto Vallarta, not Mazatlan, sorry. What other ports will you be stopping at?

Depending on what you are doing in Cabo, you may not need a cab. You get off the tender on a big pier and walk around and from there you are in town. It's nice, and clean and a little more expensive than the other ports. They have a Shrimp Factory too! You'll need to get thru the venders but you'll get that in any town.

They bring you this HUGE platter of shrimp and three different sauces. Then you start! You can just about eat yourself sick but they are oh so good! Of course you'll need a few beers to chase it all
