Jim,
What ship and date will you be in the Mexican Riviera.
We leave for an 11 nighter on the Mercury on 10/31, so I have some of the same ?'s as you.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "My Country", for an amount of "up to, and including my life." That is honor and courage.
Ahhh, never mind Jim. I am learning how to use these boards more and more as I visit here.![]()
Discovered that I can also read and see that you are going on the Vision in October.![]()

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
Jim,
There are lots of cabs and pulminias <sp> at the the dock in Mazatlan. Pulminias look a lot like golf carts. They are built on a VW chassis. A ride to the gold zone is $12 one way in a pulminia. (per load not person) I think cabs may be a little more. There are also plenty available in the gold zone for the ride back.
The last time we were there, January 04, the Inn at Mazatlan (in the gold zone)was selling time shares with reps at the dock. In exchange for listening to a 1 hour presentation the paid the cab fare and gave us drinks and lunch for the day. Normaly we would not no it but we were planning on going there to visit several members of my wife's family that were staying there. The pitch was not high pressure and we had a fun day.
