Just got back and would like to share what we did in Mazatlan.
We did a ships tour to Stone Island. It was a riot.
We were picked up by a "boat" for a lack of a better name.
It was square with bench seats on all four sides. It didn't go very fast, but we didn't have far to go. When we got to Stone Island, our Mexican limousine was there to pick us up.
The limo was a cart that had about 8 rows of seats that would hold 4 persons on each row. It was towed by a tractor. OMG, limo? Yup, that's what they called it.
We were towed across the island to a beach where we were able to get lounge chairs on the very hot sand. The water was extremely warm and it seems everyone had a great time playing in it.
We had lunch and all the free drinks you could consume.
It was ok, not great. But ok.
