In two weeks we will be on the MS Oosterdam and several months I booked the actual SWIM with the dolphins. I have done the "Encounter" in Cozumel. I have also done the Dolphin thing in Kona Hawaii at the Hilton several times. Just wondering if anyone has done this and what you thought of it.

Done it in the Bahamas and loved it! I think it's because of the friendly faces!

Those Dolphins do have friendly faces

I am looking forward to doing this excursion, I just wish they would not make me wear a life vest. I can swim much better with out in salt water.

Know what you mean about the safety vests.... what an encumberance!
But, their rules are their rules and I guess we have to resign ourselves to them.

(But the guy in Nassau didn'nt say a thing when I ditched mine during the Stingray Swim there!)

Sorry, I did the swim in Orlando at Discovery Cove. It was the best thing I've ever done. I love dolphins and swimming with them really was a 'dream come true' for me. Enjoy it. p.s., I hated wearing the vest as well. Yuck.
Cruising is life at it's best!
