Much has been written about the Copper Canyon excursion from the cruise ships, and while I, as a tour operator, wholeheartedly encourage people to explore the vast Copper Canyon, trying to do so in one long 18-hour day is not the way to do it!

And this is not just my opinion, but rather the majority view of those that have taken this excursion—it is too long, too expensive and too rushed to really enjoy the Copper Canyon.

My company, for example, can arrange multi-day trips to the Copper Canyon that will cost just about the same as the “endurance test” cruise ship excursion, and yet give you the opportunity to really see this area, instead of running thru it!
