Coz and Playa Mia condition - Update - Cruise Line Fans: Cruise Reviews and Chat From Real Cruisers

In Coz last week and went to Playa Mia (formerly Playa Sol). Beach was in good condition and they were rebuilding a little Pulpa(sp?) by the Fiesta Boat Dock. Did you ever see someone standing on a 3 foot by 5 foot roof of stick logs cutting a log to length by using a chain saw next to his foot? I did. They have not repaired the "Grand Pulpa (sp?) yet, but have a huge white canopy over the dinning area. The fans blow to make it cool but it was still pretty hot. Great Nachos!

Shoreline buildings along coast between docks and Playa Mia still show damage, mainly cosmetic or to the pulpas (sp?).

did you go to Playa Del Carmen? Did you do any excursions while there?

Nope, we just took the Fiesta Party Boat to Playa Mia and back. Then did Senor 1/2 Frogs and some shopping.
