Here's something interesting if your ship calls at Ensenada:

Just a few miles south of town is La Bufadora, the remarkable sea geyser that spouts a stream of saltwater more than 60 feet up into the air. It's one of biggest blowholes in North America.

Only problem doing this excursion is they parade you up a street full of pushy vender's, its up hill and hard on those physically challenged. Theres one restroom at the blow hole that you must pay to use and they are uncleaned. Most tour buses have bathrooms though

It's also a 1 & 1/2 hours drive from port

That's an awesome sight, but it would seem not so easy for the older or physically challenged person.

Here is the area the buses park and unload,

keep in mind its at the beginning, the walk to La Bufadora is approx 1/2 mile one way. No place to sit and rest on the way also

There is only steps and a brick wall to sit on at the top and no shade.

These were not a problem for me but was for my husband who is physically disabled and can not walk along way with out resting it was

This is the beginning of the long uphill street with very pushy vendors. The tour bus guide parade you up this street stopping at their highly recommended places to buy stuff at. You could see the tour guides getting kick backs from these shops

Our tour guide had an arm full of free stuff for her when she arrived back at the bus, stating that they loved her!

Again this was not a problem for me as I shop where ever I want to anyway LOL and no matter which shop I went into they were all willing to drop prices to make the sale

Here is La Bufadora sprouting, it was a low tide day so nothing spectacular but thats nature for ya LOL
