We booked our tour in Cozumel through shoretrips.com
You can actually just go dowtown and get on a boat there. The boats are small, fishing boats. They are glass bottom. There were about 10 of us. Some people snorkeled and some didn't. We went to 3 places. The ladder was hard for me to get up on. The whole area has about 15 of these small boats and lots of people were going out on them. the water was very calm and we could see lots of fish.

If you were to just get off the ship, where would you go to look for these little boats?

They are at the dowtown pier. There must have been about 15 of them. They come in few minutes. we had booked online and we had to wait for our boat. If we had not we could have taken the first boat when we got there. They stopped at 3 spots for the snorkelers to get in the water. They even take you where there is airplane wreck. I took some underwater pixs. I will have them developed this weekend. My other pixs I downloaded last night, but not sure how to put them in the message boards.
