When you have a port stop in Ensenada, do you get off the ship?
Why/ Why Not?
If so, what do you do there?![]()

Nope! Our stops in Enenada have been for short periods of time to satisfy the requirement of a distant foreign port. I doubt we would go ashore there even if we had a longer time in that port.

Had to mark Other!
The only times we've been to or through Ensenada were when we were driving down the Baja.
If were had a port stop there, we would NOT get off!![]()

originally we were going to get off the ship in ensenada just to look around -- but we arrived late so we didn't bother

I've only been on one cruise to Ensenada, and I did get off the ship. I went on a ship's excursion to wineries - a pleasant surprise, and went shopping in town - not as pleasant.
I voted "Sometimes", because if we went back, I might or not get off. It would depend on the length of our stay, who I was travelling with, how many other port stops we will have, and probably other things that I can't think of.
Some people buy prescription drugs, which cost much less than in the US. There are reputable pharmacies in Ensenada, and it is not as scary as it sounds. I fortunately do not need any regular medicines, but I do know people who feel the need to do this.

On hiatus from cruising, but still very interested!!!
We have gone ashore there a few times but have not felt the need the last couple times. It is just our preference for most Mexican ports at this time. We have cruised down there many many times and if anything we might go for a walk in some ports be do not do much in way of excursions anymore.

We were just there last Friday. We got off to go into town to a pharmacy to get some antibiotics, but lo and behold, they had a pharmacy at the port area. Got our stuff and got right back on the ship. Mexico doesn't thrill me that much anymore.
