    Why/ Why Not?

If so, what do you do there?
Hi I have only been on one cruise which stopped at this port, I did leave the ship for a wander around but if I was on a cruise in the future which berthed here I would probably stay onboard.

Ensenada is a beautiful city!! Since I live in San Diego, I have driven down there on many occasions.

I have noticed that some of the cruise ships are now canceling PV and Mazatlan and substituting Ensenada. Since I don't book those cruises, I had to mark other. I like PV and Mazatlan and would rather go on a cruise that stops there.

I think I've been to Ensenada on six cruise stops but after the first time, I had no interest in seeing it again. Unfortunately the quickie cruises from the west coast stopped here so that was my 2nd-4th times and the last two times the ship was required to stop there to fulfill the PVSA act. Went into the town the first time, a city tour the second time (when pregnant). 3rd thru 5th time we just went to the marketplace next to the pier so that hubby could get something for his mother. That fifth time he bought me earrings (when I wasn't watching -- I would have said forget it if I'd known as they were cheapie ones that irritated my lobes). The sixth time, we stayed onboard along with 95 or more percent of the passengers.

I've also been to Ensenada 6 or 7 times, going again in November. I get off the ship every time, except one time it was raining so opted to stay on board. Over the years the port area has really improved. It is mucher nicer than it used to be. And the down town shopping is also pretty good. We've had some nice lunches down town and there is also a nice day spa with excellent massages and an even more excellent price!

Get off the ship next time and see for yourself!
