I will be leaving for the Mexican Riviera at the end of April on the NCL Star and was wondering what beach would you recommend for Cabo San Lucas and Puerta Vallarta. I have a scheduled excursion in Mazatlan

We were in both ports on our Holiday cruise but didn't do the beaches. We watched whales in Puerto Vallarta and a Segway tour in Cabo. The beach out at the end of Cabo looked nice but didn't look like it had any concessions nearby if that's important. Wish I could be more helpful but we're not beach enthusiasts.

We were in Cabo also on Norwegian Star, it was far to hot for us, we tendered in, walked into town, then came back to the ship.

In Cabo we took a water taxi and went to The Office for an amaizng lunch right on the beach. In Puerto Vallarta we took transporation to downtown and walked along the sea wall promenade and enjoyed all of the incredible sculpture, did a bit of shopping while there too.
