A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "My Country", for an amount of "up to, and including my life." That is honor and courage.

This would be a good place to start, Doc.

I think it's good to have the links in both places. Some people won't know to go to the Cruise Resources page. Good posting, Doc!![]()

Doc I have been to PV twice on land vacations...........if you don't find what you are looking for, I'll try to answer any questions you might have.
The absolute best excursion that I have ever been on was last week in PV. We did the Los Verados Canopy Tour, not an excursion through the ship. They have a shuttle pickup every hour at their tour office on the south side of downtown and it takes you 22km out to Los Verados. The facilities and the staff were outstanding and you could tell that safety was of utmost importance to them...with a bit of fun mixed in. There were 15 ziplines that we crossed, beginning with a very short one that wasn't too high. This was to gain confidence for those that were afraid of heights...and there were a number of those on the tour. The highlight was a canyon crossing that was 542 feet high and about 900 feet long. We purchased the DVD and when we watched it you could see the change in everyone's face from the beginning to the end. At the end you couldn't wait to get back on and go across, with big smiles and whoops and hollars.
I have the website at home and will post it for you later.
