First of all welcome to this board.

Read through this thread. Has some good info on Mazaltan, including some good stuff for a tour director who lives there.

A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "My Country", for an amount of "up to, and including my life.
" That is honor and courage.

I'll do my best Kathy. In PV we did the jungle canopy tour. We did the Princess sponsored tour but there are at least two companies doing them in PV. Vallarta tours did ours and it was very good. The other company, the name I forget, got great reviews from people we talked with. do a search and I'm sure you will find it.

In Mazatlan we took a taxi ride, the open air ones built on VW chassis. Our guide Jesus took us around the old town area, the chathedral and the cliff divers. we got out, in town, walked around and then walked back to the boat. about six miles all total. We found the market in town unique for sure.

In Cabo we took the early boat ride around El Arco had breakfast at Capt. Tony's did some shopping and couldn't leave without having a Wabojito at Cabo Wabo.

    It's a great itinerary.

I have only one recommendation: For Mazatlan, Randi's Happy Horses! She has a web site, but I don't have a link. We rode with her and had a great time. She is an independent tour operator but is very tuned in to all the cruise ships' schedules. I am not related to her nor have any financial interest in her operation, just a recommendation from a satisfied patron. Her horses are well fed an cared for. The last part of the ride is on the beach and concludes with a lunch at a beachside restaurant that features fresh, grilled garlic shrimp and fixin's!

I am going to the Mexican Riviera with my parents and aunt in March; my father had his hip replaced about 3 years ago and had a great deal of difficulty walking. My aunt also has a bad knee and has trouble walking (guess this means I'm next in line for not being able to walk properly in my older years). Are there any bus tours and such that anybody has gone on that would allow them to enjoy the excursions as much as the rest of us?

    Thanks

    JacquelineRAM:

When you get to the terminal in Mazatlan you will find several operators of open-air taxies, which are converted VW beetles. Most will discuss what you would like to see and price. Our driver, Jesus Lopez, gave us a great tour around the old part of town visiting the market, catherdal, cliff divers and a few other sites. I great way to see Mazatlan with limited walking.

There are probably similar tours in PV.

Alot of Cabo is near the pier with little walking. Check your ships excursion list, there probably are several boat tour there.
