Randi's Happy Horses

We have done the Mexican Riviera itiinerary many times. We have booked with Randi on many an occasion. She meets you at the ship (with a pink sign). Randi puts you in a taxi (or an open air one). You then go to the waterfront, where you board "water taxis" (little boats with motors). The water taxi takes you to Stone Island. You can take a lot of great pics of your ship from this "water taxi". Once you get to Stone Island, you are put aboard a trailer that is towed by a tractor (only way I can describe it).
You get to to place where the horses are. They match you up with a horse, take all of your belongings and off you go!! Your stuff ends up meeting you at Victor's, a restaurant on the beach.

You ride thru mango plantations, coconut groves, and up the beach. Once you are on the beach, they stop all of the horses, and you pose for pictures that her staff takes of you (with your own camera, you develop when you get home).

You ride to Victor's, where you get off of your horse and you head to his "restaurant". It is an open air place, with plastic tables and chairs and a thatched roof. There are bathrooms (open air, but with flush toilets). The beach is wonderful. If you want to swim, the water is great. Randi can arrange for banana boats, etc, from shoreside vendors, if you wish. There are also vendors that come by to sell you silver, etc but they go away if you tell them (or Randi tells them) to go away. They are not persistent. I had my hair braided, and plan to do it again when I am there in October. I realize that the font has changed, I don't know why, but know from past experience that if I try to fix it I will lose everything I already did.
Randi buys you your first drink, then you can buy lunch if you would like. She has the tractor pick you back up and bring you back to the ship. If you don't want to go back to the ship, she will have the taxi bring you downtown, you just have to tell her.
OK, this thing with the font has done me in....I'm off to bed, any questions, let me know!!

There is a stall, but no door to it. There is a sink to wash your hands. People can't see you from outside, you just need someone to watch the door for you.

I think they call it rustic...

... and running your feet thru the sand at the lunch table is wonderful!

We also rode with Randi. Friends highly recommended her. I enjoyed Victor's, also.
