Thumbs up Muchas gracias amigos!

I thank you all for the nice warm welcome to this board. It is very nice! I do not know how I did not find it before, but the main thing is that I found it. I would not say that I am famous but perhaps well known. I just like to do things right and make people happy, that is what everyone likes. I also like to be informative and I will be giving you some information, but if you have questions please ask.
Have a great weekend all of you!

Smile A little about Mazatlan......

Mazatlan is an indian word that means Land or Place of the Deer. It is also known as the "Pearl of the Pacific". Officially we have 380,000 people but many books and magazines say 800,000. My personal opinion:600,000 inhabitants. The main industries are:
Tourism, Fishing (mainly shrimp and tuna) and also many manafacture companies, like Pacifico Brewery, Marino coffee, 4 different brands of tuna canneries (Mazatun, Bonatun, Nair and Dolores), ATI printers, Bimbo bakery and many others. So we do not completly depend on tourism, but it does help a lot! We have a lot to offer to the tourists, from beaches to mountains, water parks to aquarium and much more.
I will give you more information further ahead.

If there is some theme in specific you are interested in, please do not hesitate to ask. Have a nice week end!

Smile Gracias Sue

Thanks for the welcome Sue!

Chudley, I have read some threads from Roberto but have not had the pleasure to meet him. Acapulco is a little far away from Mazatlan and have actually never been there. Someday perhaps!
