The NCL port in LA is San Pedro. Coming up in April will be our sixth cruise from this port. Both RCCL and NCL use the San Pedro Cruise Center. Carnival moved to Long Beach several years ago.

San Pedro is easy in and easy out off of the 110 Freeway. And as you approach the well marked exit you have a great view of the ships awaiting their passengers. We always seem to hit the red light at the end of the ramp that takes you into the Cruise Center with another great view of the ship. At that point I am so excited I'm like a little kid at Christmas. Great, close in parking as well with shuttle vans. As we departe upon return, once our luggage is in hand we are in the car and on the freeway in less than 10 minutes. If you're coming by bus they have great arrangements for unloading that eases the congestion. You'll love it. Never a hassle.

That is good news and explains why I couldn't find a webcam of Port of Los Angeles. Why don't they tell you these things?

Frank how many vans do you have in Mazatlan?

When you're getting off the Harbor freeway at Harbor Blvd., stay in the middle lane (whether coming from the north or south), and then go straight across Harbor Blvd. and right into the World Cruise Center. You'll pass by a guard booth and then you'll see a sign that lists all the ships in port that day and which berth they're at (even though you can already see all of them). Follow the arrows to your berth, find a spot at the curb and unload your passengers and luggage. Then drive down to the parking lot to park your car (or return a rental car and get a ride back to the pier). There's free shuttles that will take you back up to the berths or you can walk up -- it's that close.

Thank you Frank! Tomatto was excellent! And the Pacifico was good too! Tomatto took us to many places the Ship tour did not cover, I am sure and he was very informative and entertaining. I talked to some people that were on your van and they had a very good time as well! Also I talked to some people that took the ship tour and they were not all that impressed. And they paid twice as much!
