My family and I are cruising on Vision of the Seas in March 2008...This may sound like a silly question but is it hot like Mexico on the cruise or is it cooler?

I went the end of January both times I went. So I am sorry I can't totally answer. I know in the end of January it was great weather there. Once we got closer to Cabo we warmed up. When we left San Pedro it was chilly. I think you can go to the weather.com and get an idea of what the normal temp for that time of year is. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

We will be there in April and I was told it will be 80 - 85 degrees. It really depends on what ports you'll be in. I was also told it never gets below 75 degrees in Mexico cities on the Pacific coast but that seems pretty broad for me![]()
I went on a MR cruise in late January and in mid-February. Even in March, expect cool weather in San Pedro and maybe even rain (unless there's a heat wave going on, which is rare at that time of the year) and the first day of your cruise. After that, it should start getting warmer. Down in Mazatlan, it should be in the 80s.

Cruising is a wonderful way to enjoy retirement!!
Stopped counting after 110 cruises.
You are right Ziggy it is broad. I loved the temps when we went. The water is also warm. Not cold like up where you are.

I selected Mazatlan as my search. It seems that March is the same as January.
