Cabo San Lucas

Need any info you can give on excursions for this port. RC is not listing any for sale right now except an eco-snorkeling tour.

At the tender dock are there taxi's for rent..........shore sight seeing excursion boats or anything like that............

Thanks

Jim

Also if anyone has used a private tour and has a website or link I would appreciate that.

Well..............can you hire a tour on your own once you get on shore?? Are they readily available for hire?

You are tendered into a pretty nice dock area, or at I thought so. There are all kinds of tour companies right there, you walk right by them all. These people are really into the tourist business. You're right at the harbor. We just got off the ship and walked everywhere. You've heard this before but we had lunch at the Shrimp Factory (they sell shrimp by the kilo). We do that in Mazatlan, also. It's our favorite place to eat down there

Yes, there were cabs available. Expect to pay more than the other ports.

There are plenty of boats that will take you to Lands End. If you are looking for more of a site seeing boat, I didn't see any but I am sure there are some around.

I don't know what RC has available but many cruise lines offer the same things. Here are a couple, kayak and snorkle, sportfishing, whale watching which would probably depend on the time of year, tours which include San Jose, Lands End boat tour, scuba, sail and snorkle to Santa Maria Cove.

Thanks Sea Otter

Only thing RC shows you can book right now on their website is an eco snorkeling tour..........absolutely nothing else is showing availbe for booking.

Sea Otter's right, it is a more expensive port than the others. Depending on how good you negotiate, you can get some good deals on jewelry but they are tougher. They say they don't cut prices............trust me they do
