Is the Sea Lions at Las Caletas a seasonal thing? I was thinking of doing that when we returned in December. I loved doing the Dolphin Swim in PV and I totally agree that it is one of the better dolphin centers. The best I have ever been to was on the Big Island of Hawaii at Waikaloa Hilton. I have done the Hawaii one at least 4 times.
Lisa, I don't know if it is a seasonal thing or they just lock them up when they are closed. We were there with a big group on Sunday and they are normally closed that day. The spa wasn't open and a few other things. We had lunch, snorkeled and kyaked. I looked high and low for the sea lions and didn't find them

Hi Lulu, It's good to be back

So sorry to hear you missed the Sea Lions, CHud. I know you were looking forward to that, and we were looking forward to hearing about it, too!

It's their day off, probably shopping.

Maybe if they'd have known how bad I wanted to see them, they'd have stopped for a drink at the Westin.

I forgot to mention that our dolphin trainer told us about this. It sounds like a wonderful program. Dolphin therapy can be so beneficial and has given some people amazing results.
Our trainer also mentioned that if we lived in PV, they have a pregnancy swim series I could've done. Apparently it's good for the babies; the dolphins talk to each other while swimming and the sounds vibrate off mommy's belly and the baby can hear it. It's supposed to be very stimulating (in a good way) for the baby.

If anyone here swims with dolphins (again for some), while you're in the pool hold your ear under water for a moment. You'll be able to hear the dolphins talking to eachother.
