Merry Christmas to all

From sunny warm Acapulco, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

My 90 yo Grandmother flew in from Houston, we haven't seen her in over 10 years, so we¿re all very excited to be with her for the holidays.

Liz just sent me a very romantic message and just talked to her a few minutes ago, she sends her best wishes to all.

It was an eventful day here yesterday. Poor Willie's back went out and I had to take him to his doctor. Since the snow was so deep, I had to shovel all the snow out of the driveway, so we could get the 4 wheel drive out of the garage. By the time I was done, I thought I should ask the doctor if he had a 2 for 1 deal.

Then we got in the SUV and went to start it but it wouldn't turn over. Was going to jump it with his Prius but those cars aren't made to jump another car. We then called AAA and they said it would be a 5-8 hour wait. They said they were helping motorists that were stranded on the highway first and our need wasn't life threatening.

Our wonderful neighbor wasn't home so I called their cell phone. Lucky for us, he was on his way home and he came and jumped our SUV for us.

So we were finally off to the doctor's but the roads were horrible. The ruts in the road were really deep and very icy. We slid out 3 times on the way there and twice on the way back. Not hurt, no damage to the car, but it sure scared the heck out of us. For a trip that usually takes us just 40 minutes (including the doctor visit), it took us 2 1/2 hours!!

I didn't go to work today because I wasn't about to drive in that again. But a miracle happened around noon. It warmed up to 36 degrees and the snow is slowly melting!!!

Willie's back is doing better today but it's not 100% yet. Another day or two and he should be back to go to work. Went to pick up Matt around 5 pm today and the roads are starting to get a little slushy but a lot of them still have those huge ice ruts in them. So we are now happily safe inside our warm house and the 4 of us are enjoying the night.

And my Christmas wish for you.......is that you, Liz, and Eli will find a continuing world of happiness and love, Roberto!!

Feliz Navidad my sweet friend and have a great time with your grandmother!!

Happy New year to every one, just a little update; last Friday I drove to Tecpan de Galeana, a small town located about an hours drive to Zihuatanejo. I was greeted by Liz and her family, I convinced them to go out and we went to a small fisher town called Puerto Vicente Guerrero. Had a blast, styed til it was dark and got to see many constellations and a few shooting stars.

On Friday she came to Acapulco with her Sister, brother in law and kids.

We went out to Mojito to dance Salsa and had a great evening, we where 2 little angels.

On Sunday we went to Pueblo Bravo Rafting, the river was very calm and we had a great time, we got to see a huge tarantula and I took a picture but, the darn spider is ver scary, I decided no to post it. It gives me the chills just to see the pic.

At the river I made a paper napkin ring and put it on Liz's finger, she was very excited and I promised to change it fo diamond ring in a more elaborate proposal I am preparing.

I am trying to convince Liz's parents to arrange having New Year's eve dinner on the pier and then watching the fire works. City hall announced over 14,000 shells from the most emblematic areas in Acapulco, so, it will be an awesome site.

I would like to wish every one a great new year, a lot of happiness, health and abundance in all of your endeavours.

Robert

Robert, Liz is amazing in photographs. Very cute couple.

I want to set up your Trolly Tour for Spring Break. It looks like it would be fun.

And just want to say Sorry for the misunderstandings. You are a standup guy and I think I was wrong about my perceptions. The world can be a confussing place sometimes.

Hi & Welcome to CLF

The Trolly tours Roberto does is for groups, but if you want to go on a day tour, I'm sure Roberto can help set that up for you

I don't vouch for many people in life but I can assure you, Roberto is a very honest and respectable person. He is also lots of fun! Which reminds me I still owe him a drink LOL

I have meant to drop you a note.

What a wonderful city Acapulco is, I feel privileged to have spent three wonderful days there. We stayed at the Hyatt aka Grand Hotel. Loved the spacious rooms and had a great balcony view of the beach. We did the Horse carriage ride at night (I got to sit up front and practice my Spanish). We also did the tour where you see the Cliff Divers and eat a great meal at Las Brias. Really loved seeing the city on that tour for the 30 minutes or so.

We also ate at a seafood restaurant near the Hard Rock Hotel, the name is slipping my mind. If you know if I will remember it.

And finally the best meal of our vacation (yeah, the princess food wasn't that great) was at Kookaburra restaurant. I beg any of you going to Acapulco to visit this restaurant. The view is outta this world and the food is amazing, like one of the best meals of my life.

Love the city, need to get back. I will say, I really liked the fact that is was mostly Mexicans (some tourists and some locals). It seemed to be a hot place for Mexicans to travel from Mexico City. We didn't see many Americans after the first day off the ship. Also the Wal-Mart is nice, haha I needed a new Suitcase since my POS suitcase broke.

Thanks,
Ben

Thank you, had a pretty bad morning, I took Liz to the Hospital due to a very intense stomach ache, released by noon and went to my parents house for a Taco fest my parents and sisters arranged. Yesterday, went to the beach with my mother and sisters, had a great lunch.

Liz spent Mothers day with he mom at another beach; she's not tu fond of me, so we decided to keep both families apart.

We have no cruise ships till, hopefully, July.

I check back regularly and very little to reoprt from home, so fel free to post and ask any questions.
