Almost ready to get mah arse served to me in a 5 star restaurant (Nervous LOL). A few minutes ago, I passed by a local jewelry shop in town and found a beautiful silver "charms" bracelet,I inmediately bought it then I had the video I made "light scribe" engraved with our photo on the cover of the CD.

I'ts been such a long time since I have asked some one to be my SO; usually I meet girls in bars, malls and we hook up minutes later. This is the first time in years I have made a romantic effort to woo some one I care for.

Ok, new check list just in case ship happens.

Valium, check
Tequila, double check
Spring Break girls every where, thats a big 10-4

I found out she has been seeing someone else, and the reason why she is so unstable; I pulled back, she was very, very deppresed about a lot of things going wrong in her life. Showed her the video, gave her the charm bracelet and she absolutely loved it and I saw a lady wack her BF and over heard, Why can't you be more romantic (that was the highlight of my evening) dropped her at her home, then went to a party with a good friend. I just got home and need to zzzzzz.

The restaurant staff went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly so kudos to them, the flower center piece was incredible. 16 Red and white roses with a fish bowl in the middle filled with rose petals and a lit candle floating on water.

Funny thing I was checking mah emails and I can along this inspiring poster, I'm ok, didn't get wasted (funny, not one drop of alcohol... I swear) or feel that bad, kinda expected it.

Oh no Roberto, I had such high hopes that the video would do the trick. I'm sorry that the evening didn't turn out the way you wanted it to but after reading about her being unstable, maybe it's for the best. I know she has many problems but to let a great guy like you walk away, is something that she will regret.

I can only think that God has someone very special in mind for you and you just haven't met her yet. So keep your eyes and heart open because you never know when she will come into your life.


BTW--I loved the part were the lady whacked her BF over the head!!!

Roberto, I'm so sorry. Don't know what to say. Everything happens for a reason and so hope you discover the reason soon.
And she must be really out of her mind because you are the greatest!

Thanks, I am really not bummed out or even feeling sad. I feel relieved after she finally told me the truth and there where a lot of stuff tha tshe said that made me "stop and desist" so I never got to say entirely, I feel "fill in the blank with romantic stuff" and would you be my SO.

When I picked her up; she was very aggressive and rude, was stuck in traffic and got late 3 minutes and gave me a lot of attitude.
And it went on till I was getting angry, decided to cool her down and went ahead and started the movie. She absolutely adored it and changed her mode, Remember the bracelet it was supposed to be the new part (New beginning) of our story that was going to be the highlight, but, decided to just give to her as a momento. I made up a story with the charms that were on the bracelet symbolizing hope, love and a lot of fun: She asked me if there was a story with the charms, i said nope, saw it, liked it, bought it, end of story.

Completely agree with you, things happen for a reason and feel pretty normal after the date, I expected to feel pretty crappy, but, you know; I am not a bitter guy and usually I live in a high pressure state constantly due to my job, but, some how always manage to pull things together and make things work, think I have come to a point where a swing and a miss doesn't affect me that much as it would a 5 years ago.

I was very amused when I saw my email and saw the UnMotivator poster, made me LOL, life is sometimes hits you with some irony and a lot of coincidense.

I am so glad to know that you aren't bummed out by what happened. If she was seeing someone else, she should have told you that before.

And it sounds like you were able to turn the video and charm bracelet around and make it not what you hoped it would be.

Just have faith that God has someone better for you to spend the rest of your life with!!
