Are you leaving out of San Diego or Long Beach? And are you flying in early?

Perhaps we can meet for lunch or dinner the night before??

The ship leaves out of San Diego. We typically come in the day before and spend a night in San Diego. Suzanne is the event coordinator, so I will her discuss options with you

Are there No CLF's going except Me and DH

OK, I am going to have to pass out some CLF cards or something on the ship to get more cruisers over here. I can't believe that that Me, MR. Papa, DD and DS are going to have the ship all to ourselves.

Its Officail We have the ship to ourselves

Well its Official, we leave Sunday to San Diego, and DH and I + the kids have the Merc all to ourselves. I guess all that bad press about the worn cushions and carpets is keeping the ship pretty empty, and we are really excited about having a 77K ton private yacht all to ourselves with nearly 1000 crew or more, at our beck and call.

We plan to take full advantage of being the only passengers on the ship with dinners at the captians table with complementary wine every nigth and private ball room dancing lessons.

We don't usually pay for the extras, so we'll skip the spa treatments and exercise classes, and just use the equipment in the gym for our work-outs. I'm hoping they have a great piano player, and since it will be just he and crew we'll have to work on a few musical numbers together.

Tendering should be no problem in Cabo and Zihuatenjo, as we won't have any crowds to fight.

Best of all, we'll be able to utilize the buffet occasionally as no one else will be in the line. We generally perfer the dining room for breakfast and lunch, but with no crowds, we might give the buffet a try.

The kids will mis the opportunity to make friends in the kids club, but should love the attention from the excellent, great with kids, well trained staff.

It should make for an interesting cruise, being the only 4 passengers on the ship, but hey, we're game for anything!!!

Thumbs up Hey there

I hope you're enjoying your last day on the Empty Mercury.
You are going to tip all of the crew aren't you.

Just wondering if maybe a few more people signed up for your private cruise just before you left.
