We just wanted special time with us for her birthday.. and what better way then being on a ship to get that special time .... So I'll be spending some good time with her.... So please come and bring your MIL and we can all have fun together..
Hubby thinks I bought a "porthole" room for this 4 day NW cruise....
Told him that was all I could afford. He has been begging me to upgrade throughout this past year.
He will be surprised when he finds out our room is the penthouse!

Larrie and Teri, It looks like I'm not going to make it. MIL (I asked) turned me down. She's a bit of a loony anyway, so it's better. I'd have probably gone overboard to get away
My first cruise was on the Mercury. 7 night round trip out if San Francisco April, 2005. I think we sailed together.......
Becca, OMG I think you are right! I think we were on the California Coastal together, April 2005. I can not remember the exact dates, it was towards the end of April.
That cruise was onboard Mercury, I loooved that itinerary! My husband would not drive me to Cal. for a vacation, so he said... "if you can find a way to see everything you want to see in Cal. without him touching a steering wheel we could go" I thought, well there goes that trip! Then I found that cruise on Mercury, it was PERFECT!! He HAD to say yes! We had an absolute blast!!
I think that was the cheapest cruise (other than the excursions, we went to Sea World, Zoo, Universal Studios ect...) we have ever taken and the most fun! That is why we are going on the 14 day April 27! He loves Alaska and I loved S.F. and Carmel!
Chud, come on girlfriend... you MUST have a girlfriend you would love to bunk with on our Rocktober Girlfriend Cruise!! The price is soooo cheap right now!!! How about Red Sonya?
Thanks Reggie, we are in Victoria 15 hours, so we are planning to go to Butchart after dark, from what I understand it looks like Christmas with all of the lights. Maybe arrive around predusk would be the best plan. We are also planning to see the Titanic Exhibit at the museum and a whale adventure (weather permitting) and finish up after Butchart with a pub or two!
We should be good and ready for that sea day the next day! I think most of the girlfriends are headed off to the spa that day!

I will also be on the Mercury out of SF 4/27/08......You will love what they have done to the Mercury...New bedding and deck treatment around the pools, shops and all....
