    My new blog: any feedback?

    Dear Cruiseline Fans,

I recently started a blog, it's only a few days old. I'm not much of a writer, as you can see, but it might be interesting for the first timers. Actually, I started blogging because most of my friends believe I'm a "cruise expert" with my five cruises . The truth is, I just love cruising, I do have some favorites already and some tips to share, but my experience is pretty limited, as I've only seen the Caribbean (and went to Europe once, but it was a long time ago), and I surely don't have an "eye for the detail" - I focus too much on the fun I'm having

Anyway, I would greatly appreciate your thoughts and suggestions. Well, here it is: Caribbean excursions

    Thanks!

Good start. I keep thinking about starting a blog but since I post all my experiences here, I feel that it would just be redundant.

I too like suites but the price differential is too much for us most of the time. Since we are happy with CC service on Celebrity, that is the way we almost always go.

Interesting perspective you have on many things. Not sure if I agree with you on all of them, but it is refreshing to have someone who looks at things differently than I do. (Loving Carnival as an example)

I see you also do squidoo lenses. I went over there and "liked" it.

    Thank you so much, nealberk!
Hum, I do tend to pick my favorites irrationally

I, too, like a suite but I generally am not willing to pay the premium for one over a baclony cabin. Yes, the suites are nice with the tub and the additional space but unless we are on a prolonged cruise with many consecutive days at sea, they are not worth it to us. Now, on our TA we grabbed a suite and loved it. The additional room was a necessity based on the amount of stuff we bought. As it was, we had one closet stuffed with things we had purchased. We would not have had that room in a regular cabin!

I try to travel as light as I can, but I still like to have some extra space - I'm a bit claustrophobic, my parents know it and they usually cover the difference so I don't worry about the price.
I've recently found this video on packing: Pack for Weeks in a Carry-on - YouTube, I'll try it next time

Heard about that video. It will never happen in our case!
