Thread: Buy My Book! Or, Don't Buy My Book

I think I introduced myself on here once before when I was a lowly "newbie",, but here's some updates:

My recently added Avatar is our DGD, 2 1/2 yrs old, in her Chef's outfit for baking brownies. We just completed our first Princess cruise and I'm probably on CLF mainly because of the warm welcome Lulu gave me when I started posting. We got to cruise with her and enjoyed her and Roundman's company.

I have published a book called SHIP HAPPENS: LIMERICKS AND JOKES ABOUT CRUISING with the pen name of M Joost Kikker. The book is a compilation of jokes (many stolen!) and limericks, some of which I had posted on another Cruising site until I thought one day, "Hey, I got enough here to publish something!".

The books retails for $19.95 and can be ordered through Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and other sources. Unfortunately, I tend to be an honest individual and I don't think the book is worth that price (Publisher controls pricing). However, if (unlike me) you have $20 you don't need, you're welcome to consider it.

Basically, I'm a no-talent hack who somehow was inspired by a love of cruising to throw this stuff together. It was a very easy thing to do, and hopefully there's a few laughs in it.

PS: I said my jokes were stolen. The third morning of the cruise the Assistant CD told a joke - I knew it line by line before he finished. I don't think he stole it from me though - prob from the same place I stole it from!
