If any one is interested, I started my own blog. It will pertain to card making with ideas and tutorials, etc. Kind of fun and kind of scary to do, but I am looking forward to working on it even more.
I have been passionate about cardmaking for years. A few months back became involved with Stampin' Up! as an Independent Demonstrator which has led to my personal blog.
Hope you will take a minute to stop by to check it out.

Your cords for soldiers project is a fabulous idea!
Aare you getting lots of responses to it?
I'm just a participant on the group, not one of the founding members. It has been in place over 18 months and they have done over 100,000 cards so far. As you can see from the current challenge, we have over 1700 cards committed right now with 31 people helping.
Any person may join in whether they have 1 card or 100 to give. All are appreciated and don't have to be handmade, but most of them are. We typically leave the inside blank so that the soldier has space to write to his/her family.
It is such a wonderful cause and helps so many. The soldiers have sent us some wonderful thank you notes via the shippers of the cards. It means the world to them to know that we care and that they have wonderful cards to send to their families and friends.
Altho this is on the Cricut (electronic cutter) message board, any one can contribute. You do not have to own a Cricut.
Well, nit all of us are talented enough to MAKE a beautiful card, but maybe some of us would lilke to send along a couple of store-bought ones. Could anyone interested in contributing a few cards PM you to get a mailing address?
Or maybe contribute the cost of shipping a flat rate box ... which is, I assume, haow they are being sent... Is there a paypal account set up for contributions for that? Could they PM you forthat?
This is a great blog. I like the way you have structured the tutorials. I hope you plan on keeping it up....the longer and more continuously you post tutorials and other types of posts, the more and more people will find you.
Please feel free to update this thread when you make any updates to your site.

Yes, anyone interested may PM me and I will send you the name and address of the person who I mail my cards to. She is one of the main shippers for the cards going over seas. I need to find out from her about $ donations (I am not solicitating any donations - I do know that some people have sent the shipper money to help cover the expenses of shipping to the soldiers.) I will e-mail her to see about PayPal etc. Again, I am one of the participants in the project NOT one of the main people. It is just a cause I really believe in and support.

Thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much. I'm really enjoying doing the tutorials and hope to have a new one each week. My focus is cards, but these techniques/styles can be used for scrapbooking and other crafts too.
