I can't take credit for LOTS of talent, but it was fun making them. I have a Sizzix Big Shot (die cutting machine). It is a die that you put the paper on, roll it thru the machine and it comes out cut and has the fold creases on it. So then you fold and put together. Fairly easy, the toughest parts are picking the paper and deciding what goodie to put in it. Some of the demonstrator have stacked them 3 high and because of the drawers it looks like a miniature jewelry box. Really cute idea.

I understand, use to feel that way too. It just takes a bit of time to learn, and then it is pretty easy. Here's a video that shows how the matchbox favors are made:

There is a tiny bit of a learning curve with them, but pretty easy to maintain. It is also great to see what others have done with theirs to get new ideas/viewpoints.
