Please letl us know it you find out about donations ... I think I would rather do that than send store bought cards to go with your beautiful hand made ones

Whether store bought or handmade, all cards are appreciated. Some of the ladies went into their local cards shops, and it was amazing the card donations they received. The soldiers appreciate any and all cards, as it allows them to send a card to their loved ones.

I did contact Susan (my area's shipper), she said that she did not have PayPal. I do have her e-mail and mailing address if you would like to have it. Just PM me and I will send it to you. That way you could also ask her any additional questions you might have. On e-mails to her, just be sure to put --- CFS or Cards for Soldiers so she realizes it is not junk mail.

I'm getting ready for a cardmaking workshop at my home tomorrow. As a thank you for all those attending I made little "matchbook boxes" and filled them with chocolates. It is made from a new Sizzix die that Stampin' Up! has in our catalog. Great fun and easy to do. Here are a couple of pictures of a few that I made. Haven't put them on the blog yet, but will soon. Also will have another card tutorial up this weekend.

Isn't it amazing what you can make with cardstock, some glue, some ribbon and some rubber stamps!!!

Char, thank you. It is amazing what you can do with a paper punch. I don't do hand cutting normally, use my punches and die cutter.

Wish you lived closer, I could show you how easy it really is and so much fun too.

My class went well today and the ladies LOVED their little boxes. Before they left, they insisted I show them how to make them too. So they got 3 projects instead of our normal two. I didn't mind a bit, and it is always fun.

I updated my blog tonight with the 2nd card for the class, the 1st was posted last weekend. So now both are on-line.
