Thread: An on line Store for Cruisers

Thanks, mary. I blogged about the new shirt today in my Cruising Musings blog. I hate to blog about a product, even a new one, with an entry that basically says 'here's my newest shirt, please buy it." That just seems so dull to me, and I can't imagine anyone actually wanting to read it. So, on today's entrly, I wrote a little bit about 'What's the difference between a ship and a boat?" to go with the part about the It's a SHIP T shirt.

It's stuff that's old hat to the folks on CLF, because we are all cruisers, but a lot of other folks actually don't know.

I'm going to be making up some black lanyards embellished with white rhinestones. Only a couple, though, to see how they will do. You can expect to see them in the store real soon - I'll let you know here when they are there.

So, are these going to look like the ones we wore on the Freedom?

Maybe. Not sure yet.
I am going to start on them in a few.

CLFers, I'd like some help from anyone who wouldn't mind.

I'm thinking of doing a 10 for 10 sale, starting in about a week or so. There will be 10 specific items that will be 10% off for 10 days.

Anyone who would like to do so, please tell me any specific item (or items) from Cruise Ready Store that YOU would like to see included in this sale, or that you think would be a good idea for a sale item.

I already have some items in mind, but haven't chosen all 10 yet. And, I may change some of my choices, too, because I want to make sure that I choose things folks would really be interested in . . . so, if there's something you'd like to see go on sale, just post it here.

My vote is the Lanyards as well. I am going to need at least 8 for our November cruise, in gray and brown preferably. (Is that specific enough?)

By the way, I love your store. Do you ever intend to have any children sizes in the shirts?

To answer some questions.

LANYARDS . Yes, the lanyards are a possibility- and I will make sure I have plenty of brown and gray ones.

CHILDREN'S SHIRTS - That's something that honestly hadn't occured to me, so will have to give that some thought. Were there any of the current shirts that particularly caught your eye with regard to a child's versoin.


THIN WATER SAFES -Lulu, Iwill work on that for you.
