Welcome home Brilliance cruisers! I can't believe I haven't written sooner.

I've been thinking of you when I have had a chance, but thanks to Edouard, Gustav and Ike, I have been preparing for storms, unpacking from storms and dealing with a storm for the last 6 weeks.

Heather, I'm sorry I never texted you. I have been inundated with phone calls and it has been crazy. I hope your ankle is doing better.

I do want to hear about Europe, but I can wait. In fact, I should be doing more cleaning outside, so I need to wait.

Dallas Film Comm. to film Carnival commercial in Dallas
"Dallas will see arguably its splashiest commercial shoot ever next month, while the North Texas independent film scene is fighting just to stay afloat.
Look for huge helium-filled beach balls to be cast off downtown buildings in late October with 500 paid extras on hand for the two-day shoot of a Carnival Cruise Lines commercial that could air during the Super Bowl.
The event will be open to the public, says Janis Burklund of the Dallas Film Commission, which is working closely with the Downtown Dallas Association."
