Which ports will you be visiting????
Do you plan to arrive to Barcelona a day earlier and stay overnight before the cruise???

Hi Lars
No overnight stay is necessary as the UK is only a two hour flight to Barcelona (something we do regularly just for the weekend).

Visiting Casablanca, Agidiir, Las Palmas, Funchal, Malaga and then back to Barca

You are visiting some nice ports during your cruise. Funchal (Madeira) is a very beautiful place.
I have cant remember being in the Canaries and would like to go back to Cacablanca so have been looking at the same itinerary but with Royal Caribbean.
Do you have any tours planned for the cruise???

Barcelona is easy to get to. We usually fly from Alicante or take the train up to Barcelona, but we usually arrive to our embarkation port the day before.

Was not sure whether The North African ports were worth the excursion -and indeed we will probably see how my mother fells after the journey.

We like the Canaries so will do our own thing in Las Palmas and again in Funchal.

Malaga is one of those places we've always just flown into so a trip into the city will be a must. We've holidayed a few times in Nerja and have seem the caves so will concentrate on Malaga itself.

Looking forward to enjoying the ship and hopefuly good food and company!

I am positive you will have a fantastic cruise and love every minute of it.

Have you seen many pictures of the Jade??? There are some at the NCL forum.

Also, did you check if a Roll Call for your cruise has been made?? There might be other members going on the same sailing as you.

it's an old roman city, some stuff there to look at . also one of the homes of the spanish navy, there's a very old submarine in one of the squares near the port. apart from that plenty of shops and tapas bars, it's quite laid back.

Thank you for providing the info
Cartagena is only about 3 hours or so south of where I live. I have never been there, yet.
it is supposed to be a beautiful city. Like you said; very laid back.

Have you got any pictures of Cartagena??
