Thread: MEDITERRANEAN - New review w/ pics just posted!

Mike and I have just posted our review of our May 26 cruise - Venice to Rome on the Grand Princess. We visited Venice, Italy; Dubrovnik, Croatia; Corfu, Greece; Olympia, Greece; Athens, Greece; Mykonos, Greece; Kusadai (Ephesus), Greece; Rhodes, Greece; Santorini, Greece; Naples, Italy; and Rome, Italy. There are several hundred pictures within the review, and links to two photo albums with many more pictures. We hope you enjoy our effort.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading your review - fabulous! We've been to a number of the ports and I was anxious to revisit them through your travels. We'd heard that leaving Venice is the most breathtaking ever - and I agree; the pictures we have from there alone are worth the price of a cruise. Ephesus was so memorable - we're planning on returning in Oct/09 on a HAL ship. Santorini was beautiful - you had lunch in the same restaurant as we did - out on the terrace with the cooling breezes. Fortunately when we were at Santorini, there were only 2 ships in port so Oia and Fira were both uncrowded. DH bought some pistachios from a roadside vendor that we enjoyed in our cabin later. Thanks for the memories!

I just want to say how much I enjoyed reading your review. My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon to the Greek Isles. We are going on a 7 night cruise leaving from Venice on the splendour of the seas ship. I booked the cruise without even really doing any research on the destination, but now I am so excited to go October 2008. Thanks again!
