    Weather, what to pack

I have recently started the research for weather for our Mediterranean Cruise It appears that October and November is rainy season in that region.. the average day time high should be around 65 and an overnight low could be as low as 40.

Ok here are my questions...for the ones that have visited Europe that time of year, is this sweatshirt and sweater weather or just shirt and coat weather…

We are leaning toward more jeans and sweatshirt sweater options for excursions …any opinions on what onboard daytime temperatures / weather might be on sea days?

Joey, look at my cruise review again and check out the photos...they were all taken last October while in the Mediterranean. There are lots of photos, and you can check out what people are wearing on the excursions. Most people dressed nice, but definitely dressed for comfort! Jeans, dockers, sweatshirts, sweaters, etc would have been totally appropriate, but we happened to get glorious weather....it was around 70 most days...so I packed all that stuff cool weather stuff for nothing. But you never know, so bring both short sleeved and long sleeved just in case it goes either way.

PS - People in Europe tend to wear a lot of black and subtle colors, so if you're going out in the evening you can't go wrong with a black sports coat or blazer for almost anywhere you want to go.

So what is the "best" time to go to the Med as far as weather is concerned?

Well, summer is busy, crowded and hot...and in winter time some things are closed. So I would say October or November would be just about perfect!

You're right. And besides, I would be the worst person for that job. I care how I look...but I don't really care what other people wear. They could wear their pajamas if they wanted to and it wouldn't bother me. I'd probably just find it entertaining!
