Hey Wendy
Yes, we would book a D1 again...we have had several D1s. We have also had junior suites on the Voyager, which is a sister to the Mariner.
Actually, it is just a larger room with a great walk-in closet and a nice bathroom. It isn't a suite that has 2 seperate rooms like most folks think of when they think "suite". In my opinion, they should rename it and just make it the top balcony cabin right below the suite category.
You can see our next 2 cruises in my signature! In February we will be on the Freedom of the Seas in an aft balcony going to the Eastern Caribbean (we live in Florida so we get our cruise "fix" by sailing the Caribbean) Then in May we head to the west coast for a 13 day Alaska cruise on Radiance of the Seas.
