Thread: EVERYTHING you want to know and see on the Mariner

OK Ladies, I'm still sad about not joining you this year. However, perhaps I can feel like I am there with you by helping to answer any of your Mariner questions.

I will be boarding the Mariner in just 27 short days. If there is ANYTHING that you gals want to see or know about the Mariner, this is the place to tell me. I will do my best to copy the nightly menus and photograph things like cabins and special areas of the ship.

Also, my cabin is 7654 so if anyone is booked for that room, I'll tell you all about it.

Wow Sonja! So wish I was with you. Besides the new menus, I would like to know if Captain Johnny will be our Captain when we cruise.
From what I read, the Mariner is one of the best ships to cruise on and the crew is really good.

I'm making a list Maggie and your question will be on the top!
Also, I'm going to try to borrow the menus somehow (must be sneaky) and copy them using our portable scanner.

I want to know... Where do they do Kareoke? Where is the best bar? Do they serve the Desert Pear Martini?
Where can we dance with people in our age group - not teens or old folk?

I'm just going to soak up everything you have to say about the Mariner! We sail on her 11/30! Been on Voyager & Navigator....but waiting to see what's different about the Mariner. We'll be on the same itinerary.

And hopefully others who are not members but will be looking for info can learn what they want to know as well.

Our first cruise was the Adventure. I'm also curious to see what's different. So far all I know is that the Adventure didn't have a Chops. Will have to investigate that one first hand.

RCI is good about letting you borrow them or posting them at the front desk, or they used to

That's good news Ziggy. I would love to copy the menus for each night. Assuming they are the same for your cruise, you can see what is offered each night and maybe that will help you pick which night to go to Chops or Portafinos.

Oh! Maybe I can copy the specialty menus?? They might not want me taking the menu to my cabin but if I bring my scanner to the restaurant they might let me scan it in right there. Just need to talk nice to whomever is on staff at the time. (Or sneak in when no one is around).

I'll make note of your CD questions and get the specs on rollerblades.
In return, I want pictures of everyone when they fall down.
