Mariner OTS to Mexican Riviera ~ 4-19-2009

My Wife, our kids and another couple we met while onboard Monarch OTS in May 2007 are doing this sailing.

I know it's a long way out, but why wait to get the party started.

Anyone else out there sailing with us?

Hi Tony! I'm not going on this cruise, but wanted to stop by and say "hi!"

Did you ever find the Vision mug? LOL!!!

Can you believe that I just booked another Monarch cruise for August? I'll be back on her in Feb 2008, too. Yep, I'm a fan.

Hope all is well. Love to Evie! ~ Lorna
    Coming up:
Radiance of the Seas - Hawaii
Monarch - Baja (getting in the cruises B4 she's gone)
    Independence - Transatlantic
    NextCruise - Who Knows Where

Hey Lorna. Funny you should mentioned the mug. I had a dream I remembered where I put it. But when I woke up, I couldn't remember where in my dream that was. So, to answer your question. No, I have yet to find it.

We're alson hoping to get away on Monarch soon. I think Evie really wants to go back to work though. So, I'll keep ya posted.

How's Bill. Tell him "hey" for me.

And Lorna. Remember what I said. If I have not located your mug before XMas, I'll ask Dennis and Barbara pick one up for me.

    Hi Tony,

Yes, my husband (Hal) and I will be joining you on the cruise. I'm working hard at convincing family and friends to go with us too. My sister, her husband, and their son should be going with us too. We are trying to cruise together once a year.

We will be on the Radiance of the Seas next year to Alaska, and then when I saw that the Mariner was being brought to Los Angeles we jumped at the chance to be on such a large ship without flying to Florida.

Have you and the other couple already booked or are you in the planning stage? We have reservations made. Never have made them this far out before, but it sure is fun to plan and look forward to.

Hi Mary, and Welcome Abaord! Yes, my family and the other couple are confirmed and booked. I just learned today that more friends (Dennis & Barbara Mays and Celia) whom we sailed with before are joining us too. The're all posting on the CC boards, under the 4-19-09 RCCL M&M page.

This is shaping up to be a really good cruise so far. Dennis & Barbara are experts when it comes to the ports of call we're going to. They have about 50 sailings under their belts on Vision OTS.

Our little group is growing and we're still just under two years out!

Tell Evie that I'm going to go back to work too. Although, I haven't figured out what I want to do yet. Just anything that will let us travel more would be great. LOL.

Oh Misty, you sound just like me. I'm not sure what I want to do when I grow up either. I've started to look for work last week. We want to travel more too and the extra $ is always nice.

Seems impossible that we booked a cruise this far ahead, but we're so excited about it.

    Mary
