Thread: Mariner OTS to Mexican Riviera ~ 4-19-2009

If anyone has come back from the Mariner cruise sick, please take a minute and let RCCL know:

Many of us feel that the "virus" (not swine flu) that has hit so many is directly related to the cruise. This virus has hit many, many passengers since it came around the horn 2 months ago and seems to be continuing on affecting many of us. Since most of us never went to the doctor onboard, RCCL would be unaware of so many be ill. Hope you will take a few minutes to let them know, and hopefully it will allow for a more thorough cleaning of the ship.

I have an idea ... you & Becky come for a visit. We will do Picture 101 and then go out for sushi !!!!! Miss you both. What a great time we had on the cruise.

Good to see you posting David, and congratulations on a beautiful new grandbaby!

Here's just a few of our photos from the ship:

Photo 1 is some of the amazing artwork on board. Each deck had a theme such as cars, trains, planes etc.

2. Is the Centrum area at the very end of the Royal Promenade. If you look up, you will see airplanes suspending from the ceiling.

3. This is the Chapel up on Deck 15. There is a bridal changing room right outside of it.

4. Each deck has these lit ships on pedestals. It identifies where you are at, what is on this deck. We didn't notice the deck # (this one was on Deck #5) until we saw the photo.

5. This is Henry the vacuum. Many people have used him as their avatar and I've even seen fans of Henry clubs on-line.

Thought this was really interesting. ON the night of the ice show, we sat in the very first row of this section. What a surprise to walk in and see that the seats fold up and slide all the way back to open the area up for skate rentals.

There is some amazing artwork on this ship. I found the cup and plate arwork very interesting. We had a great time just checking out artwork!!!

Sorry for interrupting but I have started a new thread and I need your help. It is called "CLF Recipe Collection" and I am asking everyone to post some of their favorite recipes there.

I know we all get tired of cooking the same thing and some new recipe ideas would make all of our lives easier.
