Thread: About Malta

We did #'s: 10, 16, 17, 21, 22, 28, 29, 30, 43, 44, 68, 80 and 89.
We also did the Glass Blowing Tour in Mdina and quite a few more things not mentioned in the list, and bought 3 bottles of Maltese Wine, which we brought back with us. It's very good wine. The water was too rough to swim in the Blue Grotto, so we just looked down at it and enjoyed the view.
We went into Central Valletta, parked the car in the car park in front of the Central Bank of Malta and walked to Republic Street. Saw every thing there and walked up and down the narrow streets of Central Valletta.
That picture Sheila posted of the Grand Harbor, we drove along there, and that's where we took the ferry to Pallazzo in Scilly, Italy.

i have visited malta a number of times, my last visit was a cruise on Pacific Princess this year.

I had so many nice photos of the silent city , little villages, and sliema where i stayed a few times but didn't have a laptop at the time , so not able to show them. I also visited Gozo, lovely island and quieter than malta. My last visit was in 2008.

I loved Sliema. We walked about there one Saturday evening. We also walked about St Julien's, which is closer to Golden Sands. It's the tourist area on Malta, many hotels there the beach, McDonald's, Burger King, Hard Rock Cafe, etc.
