Thread: Details On Majesty Refurbishment

Hi Everyone.
RCI just sent out the following announcement regarding Majesty's Revitalization:
Majesty of the Seas will go into dry dock from January 12 through February 9, 2007 for renovations, which will extend to every area of the ship.
Introduced in April of 1992, Majesty of the Seas has been a favorite of new and seasoned cruisers alike. The popular 2,744 passenger ship will undergo extensive renovations from top to bottom providing guests with additional dining, entertainment and fitness options. Majesty will be back into service on February 12, 2007.
New and Updated features include:
- Refurbished staterooms with new bedding and flat screen TV's
- Refurbished corridors
- Remodeled Centrum, dining rooms and pool deck
- Refurbished Casino, Theatre and Entertainment areas
- Remodeled Adventure Ocean Facilities
- Expanded and redesigned ShipShape Day Spa and Fitness Center
- New Windjammer Cafe with Sorrento's Pizza and Johnny Rockets sections
- Royal Caribbean's hallmark Boleros Latin Lounge will be added
- Latte-tudes coffee shop and Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Parlor will be added
- Expanded Conference facilities.

No concierge lounge?????

I wonder if the pizza and JR will have expanded hours compared to the Windjammer. I would hope so.

Blizzard-- No, RCI has no plans to add Concierge Lounge to any of the ships doing the 3/4 day cruises. JR's and Sorrento's kept very late hours (3am) which was nice.

I wish they would add them to the rest of the ships doing 6 day cruises.
