Majesty of the Seas will be getting a facelift similar to the one recently finished on her sister ship, Sovereign of the Seas. She goes into Dry Dock on Jan. 12 and will be getting a Johnny Rockets and a Sorrento's, while her current dining rooms, Windjammer, spa, fitness center and the staterooms will be refurbished. She is due back in service on Feb. 9.

Darn, I will be on Majesty for New Years. Wish it was being done before my cruise. But it will be fun to read about the facelift from those that cruise on her after it's done.

They did a pretty good job on the Sovereign... I've sailed her both before and after.
Never been on the Majesty, but am thinking she is just like the Sovereign WAS... If so, here are two things to enjoy that will go away in the refurb:
The Champagne bar
The Library
IMO these were the two most beautiful spots on the Sovereign... hope the Majesty has them now, and that you get to enjoy them before they disappear forever!
If you get a chance, maybe you could take a couple of photos of them and post them here on the CLF cruise gallery ...
