When we were in Montreal we stayed at Sheraton. Loved it - handy to everything. It is just up the street from the Fairmont - HAL's recommended hotel. We looked at that hotel but weren't impressed with it.

    Hi KK,

Did you enjoy the repositioning cruise? I thought it had a great itinerary. Did it go to Savannah and Charleston?

Where did you stay in Montreal? Did you find any great restaurants?

    Roberta

Our cruise only went to Charleston.

We stayed at the Sheraton in Montreal - it was close to the underground shops, etc. We ate at some of the underground restaurants - don't remember their names. After a big lunch, we would just snack on the appetizers that were put out for cocktail hour (2 hours). They had a ton of food there - made a meal of them. We always stay on the concierge level. This is only for those who book rooms on that level.
