I just received an email yesterday fom Harrah's. The New Orleans casino will be reopening Feb 17th........just in time for my Mardi Gras arrival. This should be a nice boost to the local economy.

I've had some very good luck in that casino in the past. I'll let you know if that continues for my visit at Mardi Gras.

With it being open 24/7, it should put lots of people back to work. That's definetly a step in the right direction.
