Live from the Ladies Only Cruise ~ Carnival Pride April 20-27 2008
Another year has come and gone and the Ladies of CLF are taking to the high seas again. We are sailing on a 7 day cruise aboard the Carnival Pride this time. We hope you have a great time reading along with all our fun, laughs, and high jinx!!

Hello all! This is the first live post. We are here at the Martini Bed and No Breakfast In. Kathleen and Ziggy are out picking up the Oregon crew at the airport. Their flight got delayed. But right now it's me, Maggie, Sonja, Ruth, Peggy, Rita (Renorita), Karen, and Rita V. Poor Jim (Ziggy's DH) is outnumbered big-time. Next up is a BevMo run and then dinner!!!!!!
I was on-line to find a shuttle for us back to LAX after the cruise, so I thought I would log-in to get things started. Wish you were all here (not!) LOL
Sorry to here the flights were delayed. I hope everyone made it safe and sound. Try to stay away from those Martini's! I hope you guys get some rest tonight so you will be ready to go tomorrow.
I will be checking back a lot. I am going to post this link to our group cruise so that some of my crew will be able to read up on the fun that you are having on the Pride.
Y'all have a ball, and don't worry: Reggie will bail you out! Just, please, don't get the YaYa's barred from Carnival, as we may want to cruise them....or its sister lines, again!

Hi everyone! Sonja checking in here. It's been a ball already. I'm so glad to finally be here and meet everyone and yes, they are all just as wonderful in person.
For all those asking or wanting to ask, yes, I do miss Lil' Red already.
Just a few pictures to start you off. My day started early since there are only a few flights leaving Walla Walla every day. I got myself to the airport at 6 and took off on time at 6:50.
As you can see, Walla Walla Regional is a small airport. Look carefully for my Jetta!
And here's the reason I always fly port side on the way to Seattle. Great view of Mt. Raineer!
Due to my early first flight, I had a LONG layover in Seattle. Luckily, there is no shortage of bars in Seatac so I could get a Bloody Mary (oops, did I say one??)
After a RUSH to get to the plane after hearing final boarding call (really, it was just one Bloody Mary! ) I was able to board my flight to LAX. Of course, after all that our flight was delayed leaving because we had to de-ice the plane. The one day the whole year they had snow in Seattle.
Lisa was waiting for me at the gate and Kathleen & Karen were there to give us a ride to the Martini Bed & No Breakfast.
The Portland gang arrived not much later, Elsie was really happy to see Janice!
We all made the run to BevMo to pick up the necessary booze and came back to the MB&NB to drop off the goods and headed out for dinner.
We all enjoyed margaritas with our dinner, but a few of us drank more than the others!
