Live fro the Sovereign of the Seas on Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas to all our CLF friends!

It's cool - not cold, but really cool. Sweater weather for a Floridian, but the folks from up north seem to think it's pretty nice. Wish you all were here with us!

We're relaxing at Sea today, the ship is beautifully dressed for Christmas, Christmas music is playing throughout the ship, and there are a gazillion baloons in a net high above the centrum waiting to shower down at some pre-planned moment...

I think they'll drop the ballons late tonight when the carolling is to take place.
They're all white - presumably to represent a White Christmas!

As for us - we're taking it easy. I keep taking naps. Didn't realize how low my batteries were. I think I'm getting just what I needed for Christmas... a real break, five really nice dinners with kids and grandkids fro out west, and of course, the news from Roatan!

    Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! Tell us all about it when you return.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

    Good to hear from you.

Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful time.

Isn't it great to have a holiday where someone else does all the cooking & cleaning.

Merry Christmas, everyone... and Happy Hannukah, too!

We've had a perfectly lovely day, in spite of the fact that CocoCay was a 'no-go' due to weather.

We've already arrived in Nassau - hours early - so that passengers could take advantage of Junkanoo. Alas, that has been postponed due to weather as well!

No matter, it's still a wonderful time, the kids have been just great, and the Sovereign is, well, the Sovereign.

MC and MT - Capt Brearly is NOT at the helm, someone new is. That was a real disappointment, as I am positive Capt Brearly would have had Cucumber Soup for me for Christmas, but, presumably, he has been promoted to a newer and bigger venue. If anyone deserves it, he does.

    Gotta run... minutes are ex-pen-sive!
