Also Happy first night of Hanukkah to those who celebrate! We lit the candle tonight and said the prayers, and ate Bob Evans. LOLl not the festive food choice but whateva .

Also a little background on me for those who don't know(I've probably told you ten times). The five of us travel from Central Illinois plus we meet up with 4 others from Chicagoland. My name is Ben and I'm 16 years old. This is my tenth cruise, I have a twin sister Emily. Mom and Dad are Lori and Howard, along with Phil my roomate/Grandpa.

From Chicagoland we have my aunt and uncle Sheryl and Kenny. Along with my two cousins Ashley and Lindsay aka Chives. Emily and Ashley have a room, while Kenny, Sheryl, and Chives share a room too. Then my granpa and I are roomies and my parents also share a room. That makes 4 rooms for 9 of us!

As Char has stated before, this is a cruise from a 16 year olds perspective. I have been on 4 Celebrity cruises, 1 Carnival, 1 HAL, 3 NCL, and this is my first Princess!

Thanks!! Our flight is scheduled for 5:40 Tuesday but we plan to leave from right from school and try to get on the 2:30 flight! Also, since we changed tickets we actually have 5 tickets for St.Louis to Atlanta on Wednesday morning but since it was 200 dollars a person to transfer them, we didn't . So if our Bloomington flights are canceled we have more tickets!!

Good luck on your exams. I hope the weather doesn't hamper your travels to the port.

Don't forget to check out the ice cream in the Horizon Court in mid-afternoon. I have never seen any mention of this in the Patters on any of my three Princess cruises. Don't know why.

Are you eating traditional or anytime?

Traditional, we did the Freestyle on NCL and its difficult with 9 people with very different schedules. My aunt likes to exercise, chives goes to kiddy club, I play basketball all day long . Just tough to go "anytime" for us.

We have the late seating, hope the 9 of us are by ourselves. Last year we were with a family of 3 from England, they were nice just like to be alone so I can act super silly .

    Hey Ben! Big day tomorrow!

    Good luck on your finals.

I'll be watching for your reports. Have a great time!

This thread is now a sticky for the duration of your cruise and as long as there are pertinent posts after you get back.

I like traditional dining. If you get a decent waitstaff, they know the little details about what you like. And there's the certainty of knowing when you're eating and where.

Finals went great. Came home, grabbed some Steak n' Shake and packed my suitcase. We are cutting down from 8 suitcases to 5 this year. Here is a picture of my suitcase along with my favorite sneakers. Tomorrow I have a Chem final!
