    Live From Carnival Splendor Inaugural (s) - July 2-25

    The "official" Inaugural voyage is July 13th from Dover to the Baltics and back. I also booked the two added cruises before that - a reposition from Italy and a mini 3 day cruise which I figured was less expensive than 3 days in London.

    The cruises are:
    July 2-10 - Genoa, Monaco, Barcelona, Lisbon, Le Havre, Dover

    July 10-13 - Dover, Amsterdam, Dover

    and

    July 13-25 - Dover, Copenhagen, Warnemunde (Germany), Helsinki, St Petersburg (overnight), Tallinn, Amsterdam, Dover.

    The naming is July 10th - not sure what the schedule is or if I'll attend. would like to see Dover Castle sometime and also the White Cliffs.

    Will be flying to most of Monday and Tuesday it looks like - via Chicago, Madrid, Rome before arriving in Genoa (I hope). Who knows where my luggage might go? The final leg is on Alitalia but they aren't likely to go bankrupt between now and then.

    Maybe some posts from airports if I'm bored - almost certainly from the hotel in Genoa, July 1st, PM.

    In just 26 short hours, unless I can get an earlier plane out of Rome, I'll be in Genoa.

    I see the ship in Genoa. It will be leaving on a 2 day VIP cruise later today...
