Amazing - wasn't crowded at all. A real shocker...

Welcome to La La land... Not sure if it was the right fare or not, but Prime Time only charged me $16 to Long Beach from LAX. Not bad, considering it took about an hour (I was the second party dropped off and there were still a few more to go.

Staying at a (oops - I lied earlier) a Comfort Inn Long Beach pre-cruise. Some huge convention(s) going on cause all the hotels are sold out. Not too bad and the price was definitely right.

A balcony stateroom!

Think both Albertson's and CVS sell liquor, water, soda, etc. Actually I know one does! And both are across the street. Some foody places that I noticed:

Pollo Campero, There's a Church's Fried chicken, I can see a Pizza Hut, and Papa John's. One of these:www.Wienerschnitzel.com

Why bother removing - I'm going to see how many cruises it will last... Hope (oops another typo) they don't take my luggage off the ship before the cruise is over.

This is the current plan for Saturday before the cruise:
Los Angeles Tours - sunseeker tours ~ Hollywood, Getty Center, Universal Studios, Stars Homes and Disneyland tours from Long Beach California Hotels.

Yes, the grocery stores (Albertsons is one, also Vons, Ralphs are all around), and drug stores (CVS, I know sells booze, as does Longs; I think Rite Aid does, but I usually don't go to them. I'm trying to think about Walgreens, there's one near me, but I don't remember if there's liquor).

I'm trying to think if the Hawaiian bbq place you mentioned is one that I'm familar with. If they have another restaurant in Northridge, then I am. I think there's a few different hawaiian bbqs in Southern California.

Oh, my, are you going to do all of those in one day? Or are they different tours and you're just doing one of 'em.
