Any Liberty of the Seas cruisers?

We've begun looking at cruises for next summer. My parents are actually interested in going on RCI next year. We've gone on Carnival for 5 years in a row; it's time to mix things up a bit.

We're currently looking at a cruise out of Miami (I think) on the Liberty of the Seas. I'm a Carnival fanatic, so I don't know too much about the RCI ships. Can anyone who's been on this ship let me know what she's like? I'm sure I can look up the information myself, but it's fun to ask anyway.

Dave I have not sailed the Liberty but I have sailed her sister ship, the Freedom. It was incredible all the stuff they have on board, Awesome food, crew and service
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I have not been on the Liberty, but I was on the Freedom. I will be on the Liberty Jan. 3rd.
These ships are so cool, especially the promenade deck. There are shops, bars, a lounge, cafe, etc. all done like a street. It's a great place to people watch.
We liked to go watch the younger crowd surfing on the flow rider. It's pretty neat. There are so many activities & shows. I really like the ice show. You would definitely have a great time on this. If there was one ship to try, this would be the one !!!

Dave, I agree with everybody else. We did the FOS, and it was just awesome.

    Liberty of the Seas

My wife and I have sailed on Liberty twice and once on both sister ships (Freedom and Independance) all three ships are fantastic ships. There is so much to do on these ships you can not go wrong with any of them.

We've been on the Liberty of the Seas and it's a wonderful ship. The Freedom-class ships are very unique in their design and the amenities they have to offer. Very similar to the Voyager-class ships onlyl larger and a few more amenities.

While they offer alot of things to do and different areas in which to do them, and their service is very good, I have to admit that I've been disappointed over the last few years in the quality of their food. Obviously, just my personal opinion, but I think the quality was better in the past and they have concentrated so much on putting out the biggest and best ships out there, that they have fallen down on what got them there in the first place. While their food is still good, i just think it's suffering some compared to what it was like in the past.

But overall, I think your experience on the Liberty of the Seas will convert you from Carnival. And if you like the LOS, you're going to love the Oasis of the Seas due out next December!

I'm going on Liberty next year. Have been on a few other cruise lines but decided to give RC a try.
