Going solo for the first time on 10-28-2010. This will also be my last Platinum cruise because I will become a Diamond C&A member.

I hope you checked your prices yesterday because there was a guarantee balcony solo rate for $377

Thanks, I had heard about this so I sent my TA and e-mail asking her to re-check the prices.

Hope you got it because it did not last long at all. I was considering it and it was gone before I could make a decision.

Hannibal54 - I just booked this cruise last night. Booked a JS with someone I've met online at one of the boards over a year ago and we correspond daily and she always cruised with her sister and her sister is getting married so I said I'd go with her. We are taking this and then staying an extra night at a hotel and then taking the Majesty for 4 days. There are some good senior discounts there so we just grabbed a cheapie interior but i'll watch the prices and see. Did you book your hotel because we got a 5 star for $84 plus tax (total $96) in Miami.

My TA got me $620.00 off of my JS room, what a deal. I have my hotel rooms booked, we like to stay in the Hollywood area. Our room is right on the beach in a small hotel, but the rooms have mini kitchens, gas grills for the guest to use, bicycles, beach towels and chairs, a Tiki bar and lots of live music for $89.00 per night plus taxes. We are flying to FLL on 10-22-10 then taking the Majesty of the Seas for a 3 day cruise in a JS on 10-22-10 then back to the hotel until 10-288-10. Should have a great time.
I have an aft Js, the rooms look like they are pretty big.

That's funny you are doing the Majesty before your cruise and we are doing it after the cruise! We are at Intercontinental Miami. I fly into FLL because with Spirit my air was $72 round trip but it only goes into FLL so i'll take the shuttle for about $25.

We will rent a car once we get to FLL then drive to the port of Miami after our stay in Hollywood. My GF thinks she can stay off work long enough to join me on the second leg. It would a shame for her to miss the Liberty.
